I will be teaching two classes during the first two weeks of the intensive.
8:30 - 10am : Ballet ages 14-18yrs old
10:15 - 11:15 : Modern/Jazz ages 9-10 yrs old
The final performance will also include two works I will teach to these dancers. The ballet class will perform a rendition of Paquita. I have personally performed this work twice at summer programs in 2006 and 2008. I will create a new work for Modern/Jazz class based on material that they generate during choreography sessions in class and inspiration from their execution of the material I give them.
